1. Provider and scope
The provider is Alexander Diener, Rohweg 56, 37671 Höxter, Germany. Contact: alexander.diener@kursavo.de. These terms apply to registration and platform use. Individual agreements and specific order terms take precedence.
2. Account and access
Access uses a personal one-time link. Users must provide an email address they control, protect the link and active session from others, and report suspected misuse immediately. Users are responsible for account activity to the extent they culpably enabled third-party access.
3. Roles of Kursavo and the school
Kursavo provides the technical platform. The school operator decides its content, offers, prices, customers and legal conditions and, unless expressly stated otherwise, is the seller to students. A course contract is made with the identified seller, not automatically with Kursavo.
4. School operator duties
- establish suitable business and tax status;
- publish accurate seller, privacy, contract, withdrawal and refund information;
- hold rights to courses, files, brands and student data;
- comply with tax, consumer and other applicable rules;
- not upload unlawful, dangerous or infringing content;
- manage team access and revoke it promptly when needed.
5. Content and licence
Users retain rights in their content. For the contract term, they grant Kursavo a non-exclusive right to store, technically copy, transform and display content solely to provide the booked features to authorised people. The user confirms all required rights and permissions.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable operation but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security measures, updates and events outside reasonable control may temporarily restrict the service. Material changes to paid services will be announced in advance where reasonably possible.
7. Platform plans
Kursavo offers platform plans, extra school slots, AI Studio, AI credit packs and data parking. Scope, total charge, applicable tax, initial term, start, included limits and any automatic renewal are shown immediately before ordering. Stripe processes payment. Unless renewal is expressly selected, prepayment is one-time and does not renew automatically.
If renewal is selected, after the prepaid initial period the contract renews monthly at the shown monthly price until renewal is cancelled. AI Studio renews monthly and provides one shared monthly balance of 8,000 AI credits across all of the owner's schools; unused monthly credits do not roll over. Purchased AI credits are one-time purchases, do not expire and are used after the monthly AI Studio credits. With separate consent, the owner can enable auto top-up and choose the balance threshold, pack and monthly maximum charge; auto top-up can be disabled at any time.
An owner with an active plan may freeze the account and all owned schools for a selected paid period. During the freeze, only parking for the combined data volume is charged; plan, AI Studio and extra-school renewals stop, while remaining paid plan and AI Studio time is preserved until manual unfreezing. Parking starts immediately and is not refunded when unfreezing early. Without an extension or unfreezing, data is deleted on the deadline shown before payment.
8. Course sales
School operators can sell courses using Stripe Connect. The seller and student's contracting party is the person identified in the school offer and checkout. That seller's details, terms, privacy, withdrawal and refund information apply. Kursavo provides technical infrastructure and does not become the seller merely by facilitating payment.
9. Term, renewal and cancellation
Automatic renewal can be cancelled at any time before the next charge through the permanently available ‘Cancel contracts here’ link. The paid period remains available until its shown end date. Termination for cause remains available. Free use may be ended at any time. After a plan ends, schools enter the displayed data-retention period; available export tools may be used before deletion.
10. Consumer withdrawal
Consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. Conditions, effects, model form and electronic function are provided under ‘Withdrawal’. If a consumer requests a digital service to begin before the period ends, a proportionate amount may be due for service already supplied. For digital content, the right can end when performance begins only where all statutory conditions are met, including express consent, acknowledgement and contract confirmation.
11. Refunds
Mandatory withdrawal, conformity and refund rights remain unaffected. Additional rules for voluntary early plan ending, unused periods, AI Studio, AI packs and data parking are provided under ‘Refunds’. Course purchases follow the relevant seller's refund terms.
12. Artificial intelligence
AI features provide suggestions, not guaranteed results. Users must review output before publishing, grading or deciding. Kursavo must not be used for unlawful automation, unchecked professional medical, legal or financial advice, or data processing without the required legal basis. Identifiable AI usage figures and anomaly signals must not be used for grades, course access, discipline, or solely automated decisions.
13. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and other mandatory statutory cases. For slight negligence, liability applies only to breach of an essential contractual duty and is limited to typically foreseeable loss. Mandatory liability, including product liability, remains unaffected.
14. Final provisions
German law applies without removing mandatory consumer protection at a consumer's habitual residence. Exclusive jurisdiction is agreed only with merchants and others where legally permitted. If one term is ineffective, the remaining terms continue and statutory law replaces it.
